Event Details

We are delighted to invite you to attend IEA's Finance Industry Advisory Board (FIAB) Asia Pacific Sub Group Meeting. This meeting is jointly organised by the International Energy Agency (IEA), GFANZ Asia-Pacific Network, and Singapore Sustainable Finance Association (SSFA) – and is part of the FiNZ (Finance for Net Zero) Connect Series event supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Established in March 2023, the IEA's FIAB is an informal platform for engagement with the energy finance sector. The FIAB is comprised of leading private and public financial institutions active in energy finance. This sub group meeting is focused on Asia Pacific region and aims to provide for a structured exchange of views on the main IEA analytical outputs. It also provides an institutional channel for dialogue between the energy finance community, energy policy makers, and energy companies, as well as for regular exchanges on the use of IEA scenarios by the finance sector.

The sessions will cover the following areas:

  • Findings from recent IEA analysis and overview of IEA's World Energy Outlook & Southeast Asia Outlook 2024.
  • How to scale up investment in clean energy projects in the power sector across Southeast Asia and other developing economies.

In the sessions, we will have practical discussions on topical energy investment issues and we would very much welcome your participation.
